Coney Island in Brooklyn has been a place strikes hard by high rate of unemployment in the past few years. Based from the information of (NYCEDC) New York City Economic Development Center, the Coney Island's unemployment rate was 14.4 percent in the year 2010. As we observe Coney Island the amusement park needed to be commercialized and developed, there are empty spaces litter in the vicinity's structures that are needed to have important developments.

With the latest discussion regarding the inaugural of casinos in New York City, other people would view this that casino gambling activity is legitimate in New York and it is not true. Allowing casino gambling on the state will not even be in the calendar until in the year of 2013. If that obstacle is clarified, it will lead to the position of the people of New York to vote on this matter on in November 2013. If the project passed, a building project of that property would take several months of preparation before it could be a multi year project in the state.

On all of what ifs of the people, the project for casino gambling in New York is going to be the most wanted issue. In a state where true property is like to be a cherished artifact, discovering a place is nearly as essential as the project itself. After the discussions, to acquire a casino and convention center into queens strike down by sooner this month. There are some signs at present directing to Coney Island in Brooklyn, or in the Javits Center locating in Manhattan.

Marty Markowitz, President Brooklyn Borough, thinks that the Coney Island in Brooklyn is the best place for New York casino gambling. "There is no question in my mind that Coney Island is the perfect location because rather than being a stand-alone, a hotel, and casino, it actually fits in with the whole economic development plan because of all of the other attractions Coney Island already represents," Markowitz stated last Wednesday.

The Borough President Markowitz is a long-time advocate of permitting casino gambling in New York City, stated that he has no official discussions with the government authority's office, but has informally discussed with the people at the Gov.
